 Hadoop Overview

Hadoop Course will provide the basic concepts of MapReduce applications developed using Hadoop, including a close look at framework components, use of Hadoop for a variety of data analysis tasks, and numerous examples of Hadoop in action. This course will further examine related technologies such as Hive, Pig, and Apache Accumulo.
Students must be belonging to IT Background and familiar with Concepts in Java and Linux.

Objective

• Understand the architecture of Spark and explain its business use cases
• Distribute, store, and process data using RDDs in a Hadoop cluster
• Use Spark SQL for querying DBs
• Write, configure, and deploy Spark applications on a cluster
• Use the Spark shell for interactive data analysis
• Process and query structured data using Spark SQL

Certification

There are two major Hadoop certifications, namely Cloudera and Hortonworks.
